None on the tube (don't think I've ever seen expiration on a tube of lipstick) - but general rule of thumb is 2 years after first use or if it 'changes' in some way (becomes dry, clumpy, etc).

Natural products perform naturally. The oils do warm up when overly warm. I just put mine in the fridge in summer or keep in a cool spot on my dressing table at all other times. I never keep mine in a purse unless I can keep my purse out of the sun. Even thought it perspires, I just cool it down when I am home. Or carry a less natural product when you must travel in the heat of the summer. I could never give up on my Burt's Bees because it works so well with my own cosmetology. Where I live now, in the north country, I never have a problem even in the summer. Just never leave in the heat of a closed car or in the sun on the dashboard. There is nothing that can replace a natural product when you live a natural lifestyle like I do.
